If you’d told me years ago that I’d be a personal trainer, I would have laughed. I wasn’t sporty, I hated P.E., and I avoided anything that looked remotely like exercise. The gym? No way.
But somewhere along the line, I found movement that I actually enjoyed - and it completely changed my life. Strength training made me feel capable in a way I’d never experienced before. Pilates taught me to move with control, awareness, and flow. Together, they gave me confidence, energy, and a sense of pride in what my body could do.
Now, after six years in the fitness industry (including time managing a studio), I know this is what I’m meant to do: help other people find their own version of that joy. Not through punishment or chasing an unrealistic ideal, but by finding a way to move that feels good for you.
I’m a personal trainer, working one-on-one with clients in the gym, and I’m also a Pilates instructor, teaching both group Reformer classes and private sessions. Whether it’s lifting heavier than you thought you could, or leaving a session feeling taller, lighter, and more energised, my goal is the same: to help you feel stronger, more confident, and proud of what your body can do - both in the gym and in your everyday life.
Because movement isn’t just something we should do. It’s something we all deserve to enjoy.

I work with real people. Many of my clients are:
If you’ve ever felt unsure where to start, or struggled to stick with a routine, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build from there.
Training with me isn’t about quick fixes, punishing workouts, or endless cardio you hate. It’s about building something sustainable - a routine that fits your life and helps you feel better in every way. With me, you will:

1. Do I have to be a member of Excel Gym to train with you?
Nope! You don’t need a gym membership to train with me - I can bring clients in as part of our sessions. If you’d like to use the gym outside of our sessions, you’re welcome to sign up as a member directly through Xcel.
2. When is payment due?
Sessions are invoiced weekly, fortnightly, or monthly - whatever suits you best. To secure your spot, payment is required in advance of the session.
3. What’s your cancellation policy?
I totally get that life happens. I have a 12-hour cancellation policy to allow time to offer the spot to someone else and keep things running smoothly. Late cancellations may still be charged unless in exceptional circumstances.
4. How do I book sessions?
Bookings are managed directly through me. I’ll work with you to find times that suit, and can send through a regular schedule or adjust as needed.
5. What kind of training do you offer?
My sessions are tailored to you - whether your goal is strength, mobility, confidence, or just feeling better in your body. I blend strength, functional movement, mobility work, and a bit of fun, depending on your needs.
6. What should I bring to a session?
Just your water bottle, a towel, and good energy! Everything else we need will be ready to go at the gym.
7. Can I train with a friend or partner?
Absolutely - I offer semi-private sessions too. Just reach out if you’re keen to train as a pair or small group.
8. What if I have an injury or medical condition?
That’s totally fine. We’ll chat about it during your initial consult and I’ll tailor everything to keep you safe and supported.
